Due to the request of - elisi I am posting my video here.
Set to It's Not Over by Chris Daughtry, this video takes a look at Spike and Buffy's story over the 6th and 7th seasons of the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The good times, bad times, coming together, and ultimately the end.
Edited on Sony Vegas

I have tons of Spuffy vids up, a few Buffy/Angel ones, and a fast paced character study on Buffy. I have also done some music videos for movies as well.
Thanks again.

Date: 2007-01-27 06:06 pm (UTC)As for the breakdown of what I liked, well, although I don't use it anymore, my degree is in communications and I've done some editing myself. No music videos as such, but the old habits die hard. *g*

Date: 2007-01-27 06:15 pm (UTC)I have been editing on my own for three years, and I have also been attending a post production school in Burbank for the last year or so. I am learning both Avid and Final Cut Pro which are the industry standards. I actually prefer Sony Vegas, which is what I cut all my fanvids on. It is much easier to use, and has a lot of range in terms of what you can do. It is getting really popular on the net, and in some professional circles now. They even came up with a Vegas Certification Test, to become Vegas Certified. I have been using Vegas for over two years, and although I know a lot, there is still tons of stuff I have to learn. I am completely self taught, and I know that there are instructors out there as well as books on it.
It is great that you have edited yourself, and know where people are coming from when they put stuff together.
Thanks again!
