It's been a while since I posted anything to this community, but I'm always happy to see it pop up on my flist, so for anyone who's interested (or bored and looking for ways to kill time), there's a discussion of Never Leave Me at my LJ.

I'm still working my way through reviewing season 7 and just posted the commentary for "Potential", "Killer in Me" and "First Date" here.

I also don't think that I mentioned here when I posted the commentary for "Never Leave Me" and "Bring on the Night" a while ago.

In my continuing project of reviewing every episode of BTVS, I wrote a review of "Selfless" here earlier this week, if anyone is interested.

*Waves to community*

I've been following [livejournal.com profile] thalia_seawood 's excellent first-time-viewer commentaries on BtVS and been inspired to cobble together some old notes on two of the less popular episodes of S6.

I love this community and have wanted to post something here for some time, but haven't written anything appropriate for it lately, at least until this week when I wrote a review of "Help". Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] lillianmorgan for suggesting that I post a link to it here!

As someone who loves the later seasons very much, I'd like to introduce myself by linking meta and fiction on various aspects of them I've written, as well as three essays by other people.

Meta:

Mirror, Mirror: Life Serial and Dead Things Revisited

Hell's Bells and Normal Again

Selfless to Never Leave Me

Fiction:
"Five Things Which Never Happened To Warren"

Trio: The Musical (what really went on in Once More, With Feeling *g*)

"City Girls" (aka Buffy in Rome)

Mary Sue Goes Septic: Warren Meers

Roleplaying: Superstar and Storyteller

I just posted the second part of my season 7 episode by episode review here. It covers the second disc (from "Selfless" to "Sleeper") with a bonus comparison of "Selfless" and "Fool for Love" :)

I just posted the first part of my S7 episode reviews (or ramblings more like) that I have been meaning to write since I saw S7 for the first time last November.

From "Lessons" to "Help".

I've earlier written reactions to watching S6 - Part 1 and Part 2 - that might also be of interest.

I was rather hesitant about S6 when I first watched it - in retrospect, I think it was mainly because I had been spoiled of the events of "Seeing Red" (though I didn't actually know in which episode the attempted rape would take place) and I couldn't really enjoy the episodes because I was trying to prepare myself for the one that could very well make me hate my favourite character. Of course, in the end I rather liked "Seeing Red" and Spike is still my cuddlebunny, and when I rewatched S6 a few months later, I enjoyed it quite a lot.

Hi, I just wanted to make a contribution to the community, so I'm linking to the posts I've made so far while re-watching season 7 of BtVS. Other posts in the series will appear in due course.

Re-watching season 7 posts here.

[livejournal.com profile] spikeylover tackles Seeing Red today. Join in if you are so inclined.
And since [livejournal.com profile] elisi seems once again to be sharing a brain (poor thing) with me, here's her post with with a brilliant explanation of why Spike needs that soul by [livejournal.com profile] shipperx.
