Two short season six fics

Hello! I'm new round these parts, but I know I'm going to like it here. I have two season six fics to offer by way of introduction. The first, "Ground Down," I actually posted at spuffy_haven as well; the second, "Dead and Buried," is brand new for you all.

I still get confused by LJ format, so links will go back to my journal, if that's all right.

Title: Ground Down
Timing: Right after "Once More with Feeling," before "Tabula Rasa" starts
Rating: PG
Summary: God, how she wanted to shove him away, say something, drive him out. But she was teetering on the edge of control, and if she moved or spoke it would probably start, right in front of him and nothing, NOTHING could be worse than that.

So, I have been inducting my best friend into the Cult of Buffy. Right now, we're on Season Six and last night we watched "Dead Things." It still hits like a punch to the gut, even when you KNOW what'll happen. So I apologize for Teh Angst!, but I had another ficification moment right here at my desk at work. A MOMENT OF EMPATHY for Buffy in that alleyway - especially since we all know her irritating habit of speaking about other people's problems when she really is speaking about herself. Still, emapthy at that juncture - I didn't know it was possible.
